I'm a girl, living with her husband in a far northwest suburb of the Windy City. Right now, I'm a jack-of-all-trades. I recently quit my job to pursue life full-time.

I love, of course, doing so many things that usually everyday I don't know where to start. Lately, my fondest love has turned towards sewing pincushions, knitting socks and cuddling my two kittens. I have a great desire to take more pictures of just about everything and to start a nature journal.

I have my undergraduate degree in Literature and Writing but am still recovering from academic burnout even after these last three years. You can catch me reading mysteries, some old Wilkie Collins, a healthy doses of Henry James and Elizabeth Gaskell.
